Membership Information
Membership is open to licensed snake catchers who can demonstrate:
• A Current and appropriate licensing under NSW regulations.
• Valid public liability and personal insurance coverage.
• A proven record of safe, professional, and ethical service to the public.
• A commitment to abide by the Association’s Code of Ethics.
As the Association develops, additional membership categories may be introduced — including pathways for trainees, educators, and allied professionals — with clear criteria for advancement to full membership status.

Joining the Professional Snake Catchers Association - NSW (PSCANSW) means being part of a united, professional voice for snake catchers across the state. Our association was created by industry professionals, for industry professionals, with the goal of strengthening and supporting ethical, insured and compliant snake catching in NSW.

Membership is currently open to licensed snake catchers, as well as individuals with a genuine interest in reptile management and education.
There are no membership fees at this stage. Full membership for professional licensed catchers will officially open in early 2026.
Our goal is to bring people together, share knowledge and experience, and establish a strong, unified voice for the profession.
As the Association grows, members will play a key role in shaping its direction and future benefits, including accreditation pathways, training opportunities, and formal recognition within the industry.
